Especially for my fellow creatives, here’s a recipe for the delicious, wonderful, ideal life of a creator. You don’t need all of the ingredients to create this wonderful life for yourself as a creative type. But you need all of them to create the ideal life of a creator.
Ingredients:
A New Idea for Promoting your Work (optional)
Creativity, in any form
Time for Brainstorming about Creating (optional)
A Pinch of Inspiration
A Spoonful of Positive Support from anyone
Errands that are run Smoothly and Efficiently (optional)
Financial support (optional)
A Cup of Concrete Help such as someone volunteering to help you or leaving a positive review online (optional)
20 minutes or more of Time Outdoors
Time with loved Ones

Instructions:
First, if you’re lucky, you’ll wake up with a new idea for promoting your work. But that’s optional and only if you’re going to have an ideal day for an ideal life of a creator. Let’s face it, we can be happy, ecstatic even, without the “ideal.” The main ingredient you’re going to need for the wonderful life of a creator is creativity. Accept that creativity, use it, and let it grow. You could take some time to brainstorm ideas for things to create. But that’s optional. Sometimes the ideas come as you are in the creative process.
Take a pinch of inspiration from wherever it comes, and run with it. If you can’t immediately act on the inspiration, write it down for later. You probably know that inspiration evaporates easily if you don’t grab onto it. Another essential ingredient is a spoonful of positive support from anyone. If positive support is rare in your area, you can even just accept for it: a stranger giving you a little smile. Cut out any junk mail and spam calls as quickly as you can. Eliminate time-waste as much as possible.
Similarly, if you need to run any type of errands, avoid snags that could take more of your time than necessary. Enjoy some daily time outdoors in the rejuvenating fresh air ideally with some sunshine. Be in fellowship with the creations in nature. Create, let go of items that do not serve you, feel the space to create some more. The creative life can be isolating, so make sure you enjoy regular time with loved ones, with mutual enjoyment. Repeat daily and you will build a wonderful life of a creator. It may even be ideal.
