Children’s Books: Bricks and Mortar or Online Clicks to Order?

How do you prefer to buy children’s books? Do you like to purchase in a bricks and mortar, physical store? Or do you use technology online to “click” and order?

I’m happy to announce that you now have both options for purchasing any of my (English-language) books and coloring books. That includes the hardcover version or the paperback of any book in my character-building series.

There are currently four books:

  • #1 is about having a can-do attitude.
  • #2 is about honesty and friendship.
  • #3 is about perseverance toward a big, long-term goal.
  • #4 is about respect, harmony and leading by example.
  • Additionally, all four books have their own, unique coloring book companion. My teenaged son collaborated with me to help create the coloring companions for the second and fourth books.

If you prefer to order online, all of my children’s books are at this page. It contains links to some of the more popular online booksellers. My books can be ordered at any book retailer, online or bricks-and-mortar.

Modern Allo Now Offers my Children’s Books

Modern Allo is a local small business in Chandler, Arizona, on Ray Road near Kyrene Road. They have a display offering all of my above-mentioned books for sale. You can go in any time they’re open, around regular business hours, and also Saturdays and Sundays to purchase. That’s convenient for locals looking for my children’s books. They also have other great gift ideas for adults in your life, like: a deck of Mindful Meditation cards for only $8; jewelry; useful, stylish items; and beautiful houseplants.

You could stop just to shop in their cozy retail area. Or you could stay a little longer. My favorite thing to do when I go there is to bring whatever portable project I’m working on, order a chocolate date smoothie, and find a quiet table where I can work. I don’t know if it’s the beautiful plants, the music, or what, but I find the atmosphere and energy of Modern Allo inviting.

Relax or Work

If you desire a more spa-like experience, you can call ahead and schedule a nail appointment, facial, or massage. On the opposite end of the spectrum, are you looking for a professional work space to use by the hour? Modern Allo rents out a meeting room and an individual office room (please call ahead to reserve and inquire about pricing). And if you have young kids, you can sign up for blocks to have your children join the child care room while you stay on-site to take care of you, or your business.

Currently, the Quitting monster is featured at the top of Modern Allo’s display of my books. But he’s there, and he’s in my third book, so we can learn to fight him. Despite obstacles, keep going for those goals. If Modern Allo’s goods or services can help you in your achievements, I encourage you to go there and support this local business.
