2019: A Picture Collage of Highlights

2019 marks the year that I blasted off on my children’s picture book writing and illustration adventure. This picture collage marks some of the highlights. Those include my Book Launch Party in May, with a karate demo and other fun. The big group picture of at Karate Summer Camp in Missouri. Just because we write about it doesn’t mean we get a pass on the lifetime continuation of training in karate. It is the instructor’s obligation to keep on that path.

There are pictures of me and my family and friends (including many children’s authors) and dojo mates. You can see me reading my first book to a karate class and two kindergarten classes. Also included are pictures of my first book, “The Can-Do Karate Kid: On Defeating Laziness and Procrastination,” my picture book adventure included much of that. Toward the middle is the cover of the coloring book companion to my first book. And there is also the cover for my newest second book which came out the beginning of this month. It is “The Two True Karate Kids: On Battling Dishonesty.” I believe that is something we all must be on guard against in our daily lives, in order to be sincere with others and honest with ourselves as well.

This year, 2019, has been quite an awesome adventure. I look forward to continuing the adventure in 2020.

Thank you for inviting me to your In-the-Park Book Launch of your 3rd book! It was a very pleasant afternoon. Some very
nice people were there and the homemade India snack foods
with coconut were fabulous in their savory and sweet mixins’
